Viral Marketing For The Dark Knight

Comic Related columnist's blog shares photos from a Dark Knight visit!

March 14th, 2008 - I'm sure many of you have seen this graphic as you surf the web looking for information on the upcoming Dark Knight film...

Warner Brothers, as a way of promoting the film, started a viral marketing campaign for the film creating several websites which, in a variety of ways unveiled small tidbits about the films including plot details, screen shots and other teaser images rewarding fans. Thanks to an update from Gordon Dymowski, author of the monthly Comic Related column TV Party, we've learned that the web campaign has taken to the streets. Gordon explains...

"You've all wondered, I bet, what it's like when you hear of a viral marketing effort...or even when such an effort comes to your town. Well, luckily, one such effort came to Chicago...and I took pictures."

In yesterday's Blog THIS, Pal! update, Gordon begins by wishing Progressive Ruin scribe Mike Sterling a happy birthday and ends with four photos from Chicago's Dark Knight viral marketing visit. Check out the photos here.
