For everything that was good about Season 1, it doesn't hold a candle to how great the series gets in Season 2 (in my opinion). I can't wait until you get that DVD set in hand and see those episodes. The final three of season two are real standouts for jaw dropping goodness.
I thought your point on how public opinion might shift if it had been Captain Jackie Harkness (aka a female in the bi-sexual lead rather than a male one) was a particularly strong point. Great article and I would add my recommendation that anyone not watching Torchwood... You should resolve the situation immediately. Pure stand out television! -------------------- Chuck Moore

I'm amazed at the backlast there's been towards Torchwood - I haven't seen Season 2 yet. It's a show that you might expect would be more of an overt theft of Who...but it has it all. Action!
