LOVE the artwork here! Ditto. It's like a homage to Kirby, a homage to Mignola, a homage to the EC artists. All wrapped up in the artists own identity. This is sweet, sweet artwork. Makes me want to see what supernatural elements are in the book. Sorry, cool artwork always excites me. |

The artist of this piece is Dario Carrasco. He and I did some work before for Digital Webbing Presents.

Shame on me for not recognizing Dario's craftmanship. Who's the colourist, because they bring it all together in the final image. I only ask because a good colourist can make this piece, and a bad colourist could kill it. And this colourist brings the piece all together. Can't be 100% on colorist, but I believe it might be Derrick's pal and fellow writer, Percy Constantine.

Would love to read about the character and his world after seeing that amazing artwork. ( makes me wish I could find an artist really similar to that for my series)

Mr. Fortier, famous fashion designer, is correct! Percy did color that Dillon piece!

We're up to Chapter Fourteen so you've got a lot to catch up on! |

I had to set aside reading of Dillon and the Golden Bell for a family reunion. Looking forward to diving back into it.

Hahaha, you guys are too much. And let me add, I've read tons of pulps in the my lifetime and Derrick's DILLON is easily one of the finest series ever done in the genre. His books are wall-to-wall action from cover to cover.

And soon I hope to be able to provide a definite date on when FOUR BULLETS FOR DILLON will be available. Right now August seems likely. And further on down the road you can look forward to DILLON AND THE PIRATES OF XONIRA in November. |

Charles Saunders, the creator of IMARO, DOSSOUYE and the upcoming DAMBALLAH for Airship 27 has written a review of "Dillon and The Voice of Odin" in the Recommended Reading section of his website. It's a review that is extremely special to me as Mr. Saunders has long been an inspiration to me and in a big way Mr. Saunders is responsible for me being the writer I am today as I learned from him that it was possible to create black heroes in the genre of pulp fiction. Read and enjoy.
