So - I've been busy as heck the past couple weeks - now I am back (for a bit from time to time). I log onto DA to see my portfolio and I find out I'm BANNED FOR 2 WEEKS!
ROFL! Oh well. Nutshell version. Aparently the colored version of naked Conan (with the naughty bits hiddin in shadow) is FINE - but If you put a word ballon next to his mouth that says "Thanks!" and a long "1000+ pageviews" extending from his manly region - thats a no-no! Whateva. I need to do like tony and have my own site portfolio. OR post my portfolio here. Oh well. What I like bout DA is you can order yer own prints - makes for good submission copies to editors. Well - nice to be back! Missed everyone! -------------------- |

I had 25 of my colored pieces removed due to "copywrite" violations, yet someone can literally take a screencapture from a movie, add a word baloon, and it's fine. DA is a bit odd at times.

No messaging - no nothing. I can +FAV stuff though and I still get my daily new deviations - and I can browse - but thats it. ;(

Oh well blogspot is a great portfolio solution, if your going to post stuff as described you just change the settings to keep it out of the public directory and they leave you alone as long as your not selling anything. one of my many blog's @ blogspot |

I think you subject to any of that whenever you deal with the public, but DA ought to let you know if someone B---hes then you could wind up blocked, deleted, whatever, if they do I certainly missed it reading through their stuff. -------------------- My Webpage
