MR. SCOOTLES & ALTERNA MAKES THEIR FREE COMIC BOOK DAY DEBUT WITH "ATTACK OF THE ALTERNA ZOMBIES!"

80 PAGE BOOK WILL CONTAIN AN ORIGINAL STORY AND PREVIEW PAGES FROM EACH ALTERNA TITLE

January 13, 2009 - Jesus and Lincoln are going to face off against a new batch of foes this May - in the form of Alterna characters as zombies! Spoofing and lampooning the recent zombie craze in comics, the titular characters of Jesus Hates Zombies and Lincoln Hates Werewolves will headline "Attack of the Alterna Zombies!".

The book will be 80 pages and perfect bound as a graphic novel offering on Free Comic Book Day. Featuring a cover by Michael S. Bracco (Birth, Novo), an original story created by Stephen Lindsay (Jesus Hates Zombies featuring Lincoln Hates Werewolves, Ham and Eggs) with art by Jeff McComsey (American Terror: Confession of a Human Smart Bomb), and over 60 pages of previews from the Alterna Comics catalog - the book will contain something to please both fans old and new.

Keeping in line with the family-friendly tone of Free Comic Book Day, the book will be suitable for all ages and the book previews have been adjusted accordingly.

"Attack of the Alterna Zombies!" is currently available for order in January Previews along with the rest of the Free Comic Book Day selections and merchandise.
