My apologies for the latest column in regards to the amount of typos that slipped through the cracks. I hope that fact doesn't distract any body too much. To date that column is probably my most favorite...I just loved the stories that John and I discussed....but life on the home front this past week has been....mildly chaotic to say the least so although I like to turn these things in to Chuck days ahead of the post date....this one was start and stop...over and over the last few days.

This week....I didn't actually finish and submit this column until 11:03 p.m. Talk about an elevnth hour rush!

As many of you fellow writers out there know...proof reading your own materail is always a difficult task. Things just slip through the cracks (in my case usually omitted words...or letters at the end of words)...because your own mind "knows" what you're trying to say...and just doesn't catch the mistakes..until in some cases it's just too late.

That's why it's always best to have an out side source edit your material whenever possible.

At any rate...I hope you enjoyed the column....and I hope John doesn't mind too much that his partner in crime dropped the ball a couple of times!

See You In The Funny Papers!

Another great one, Bill. I was about to call fall for one omission of a classic pair gone bad, but then I finally saw Mags and Prof. X towards the end. smile.gif

Great column Bill! I'm really getting a kick out of these. I've got a couple of "friends like these.." suggestions. The Justice League has had both Snapper Carr and Maxwell Lord flip from friend to foe!

Thanks guys!

Brant...due to the fact the column was running late I kinda skimmed over the Xavier/Magneto relationship. But I didn't feel too bad about it becuase I had already went over a lot of details about the history between these two in a past blog.

Actually the whole friends who see things differently was the topic of the blog and Professor X and Magneto got thrown into the mix.

Also in the rush to get the column turned in....this picture...which was supposed to go with John's cooments about Superboy vs. the Teen Titans got left out.

Jon-great catch!

I can't believe I forgot Snapper Carr...I love that old D.C. stuff...and I just saw this discussed during the special features on the Justice League: New Frontier d.v.d.

And John likes that newer D.C stuff a lot better than me....Maxwell Lord should have come up.

If these were Marvel characters I'd feel obligated to send you a No-Prize !!!!
