Comic Book Vs - Spiderman vs Blue Beetle Options

I thought we'd change things up a little bit. Instead of a top 10 this week, I thought I'd throw up a vs challenge. So lay it on us.

If these two characters had to go toe to toe, for some reason, who would emerge triumphant?

Don't just say -who- you think would come out on top. You have to say -why- you think they would come out on top.

Ok, granted, I don't know a lot about Blue Beetle or his power set, but my gut says Spider-Man. Spidey has faced some of the biggest baddies in the Marvel U and come out on top. He has super strength, super agility, and that nifty Spidey Sense. I know BB's suit is enhanced, and he has gadgets, but Spidey is all heart and skill, and he's just in a different league. In my mind, that's like asking who would win between The Flash and Bucky pre-Winter Soldier.

Just based on experience level alone, he would come out on top. Add to that the old Spider-sense and years of utilizing the environment in which a battle takes place to his advantage (often versus foes that have outmatched him power-wise) and it would seem like a pretty uneven battle to me. Blue Beetle would have raw resources at his command thanks to his armor, but I don't think he could hold his own here as he is still figuring out many aspects of what he can do.

I don't know a thing about this (new) Blue Beetle guy.....other than this. He's a realitve newbie. Spider-Man has fought everything from your everday run of the mill armed henchmen....to Gods.

In my opinion, Jaime (Blue Beetle) Reyes has the greater power and could devestate Spidey with that power.
But, he is still learning how to control this great power, and Spidey has years of experience fighting everyone, so my vote at this point in time would have to go with Spider-Man...
