Hey Bluepencil! I got your response on DW too, thanks man.
Damon's tats are a combination of Zodiac/Astrological symbols on his shoulders, Witchcraft symbols on his biceps & Nordic runes everywhere else. I used the internet for most of those as a resource, otherwise this stuff is outta my head. I look at a LOT of contemporary fantasy & comic book art though, so those influences are always there. |

Those are some great looking designs, SeanT! They all seem to have a LOT of personality, like you almost know who they are just by looking at them. The only one I don't like so much is the Hellmonger. Not sure why, but seems a little derivative of a dragon and the design just doesn't seem to do much for me? (Though, maybe if I saw more of that one I might change my mind). Only issue I could see is the little details (ie: tattoos) on some of these characters might drive you a little bonkers if you have to draw them over and over in sequential panels
 . Look forward to seeing more of your work! |

The Leader - Haha, thanks man! "I love The Leader" - Homer Simpson smaroon - Thank you very much. I've been working on putting more characterization behind the character. Yeah, the only description I had of Hellmonger at the time was a dragonish demon, so that's what I came up with. I'll elaborate on him sometime. Haha, definitely those details would drive any artist nuts. Mr. Arcane fortunately will usually be clothed & the Troll Queen was a commission sketch so I don't intend on mass producing her crazy hair! Thanks again all! |
