I'm really glad Fringe has 13 more episodes to go after this season comes to a close.
I would have hated for tonight's episode to have been the next to the last episode for the series. "Alex" better not be dead. Best part of the show......the "elevator music" version of Billy Idol's "Eyes without A Face" during the opening of the show in the airport. That was pretty cool. The rest....not so much. Sorry. Let the Bad Robot Brigade commence to hurtling rotten tomatoes at me....watch the glasses please. -------------------- "Reality is only for those who lack imagination" don't know who first said that....but it works for me!

It certainly wasn't on par with the last couple of episodes, but it certainly was not a bad episode. There was a lot of forward movement here with the plot.
And simply because of who the actress was, I knew the redhead had something more to do with things. It seems hinted at in the promo for next episode. For those that don't know, she was an important character on LOST, and a key villain on the short-lived No Ordinary Family. She wouldn't have been there just to do a bit victim part I wouldn't think. And yes, Bill, I agree, "Alex" better not be dead!!! -------------------- |

I was never a fan of that actress and I was rather bored with this past episode, however it would seem that they will make up for it in the finale.
Possible SPOILER [Highlight text to read.] Am I the only one who thinks that William Bell will be encapsulated in amber during the finale? This post has been edited by Tim Tilley: May 5 2012, 07:17 PM |

Now that was awesome! That would have been the PERFECT way to end the series!!!
Everything comes full circle. Walter Bishop at his best (although I had to cover my eyes for most of that) "Alex" lived. Broyles got a promotion, and Nina got a new job... And was that the same Luger Hitler shot himself with...I can't prove it but I think it was and I can see William having an interest in that gun and those bullets if it was... How do you top that? I mean the show is coming back for thirteen episodes, and we have a pretty good idea where it's going to go. But that was a great series ending episode. And...all things do come to an end I suppose and sadly...this is the last episode of Fringe I will ever watch... (??????-stay tuned-sharing life changing news soon) -------------------- "Reality is only for those who lack imagination" don't know who first said that....but it works for me!

It was a great episode, and it did provide a lot of closure, but not ALL of the closure. Had they not done that jumping into the future episode a few weeks ago I might agree with you, but since they opened that can then they need these last 13 to wrap that up in my opinion.
What life changing news would cause you not to watch them I wonder. Hmmm... -------------------- |

What life changing news would cause you not to watch them I wonder. Hmmm... In true Fringe fashion...there most be more to what "appears" to be an incomplete statement. -------------------- "Reality is only for those who lack imagination" don't know who first said that....but it works for me!

I guess I'll have to watch the last 13 episodes of the series from the "other universe". -------------------- "Reality is only for those who lack imagination" don't know who first said that....but it works for me!

WOW, after four fantastic seasons of my favorite series, last night's episode of FRINGE knocked both me and my wife for a loop. Both of us where shell-shocked by the events played. We've been liking the War Against the Observers in this short, final season....but had no idea the show would amp up so dramatically as it did last night.
Note, I purposely being vague here as to NOT SPOIL it for those of you who have yet to view. Am hoping Brant, Gordon, John and myself will ultimately being doing another FRINGE episode of ZONE 4 when the show comes to its in in just nine more weeks. |

Yeah, I'm hoping to get Bill on for that one too. Last night's episode shook me too. I was not expecting it to go there. That was a scene that got me emotionally and left me wondering many things. For me, this season so far has amped up so dramatically that it feels like the climax leading into the resolution as it should. I am SO glad they were given this final half season to wrap things up nicely, and it seems like they have a definite plan to do so.

Yup, we need Bill on the episode for sure. And maybe Andrew Salmon as well. Make it whopping END OF FRINGE special. Ha.

Another great episode of Fringe with more callbacks to past seasons. When Walter first went into the apartment I kind of geeked out when he crossed. And then the reveal of what was there. And finally, Peter's... developments toward the end. I'm still not sure whether that's a good or bad thing. I kind of have a theory of sorts, but I'm not sure. It's got to be a bad thing, but at the same time it's very cool.
Then the emotional moment with Peter and Walter, and that revelation about his... changes. And did I detect a little nod to Star Wars with that line Peter said to Walter? And wow, that last scene... crazy Great episode. That's all I can really say. And it looks like a lot of that is going to start coming to a head next week. -------------------- |

Brant, when Walter said WHAT was hidden away in that pocket universe, I pretty much jumped out of chair cheering. Another loose thread from an earlier season coming back into the story.
And hey, Peter's changing. Do you remember my off the wall prediction after season three as to who Peter might change into? Is that now happening in ways I really never imagined? I so love this show and like you see it building up to what is going to be an amazing finale. WAHOOOOO!!! |

PETER IS TURNING INTO AN OBSERVER!!! I had predicted this very event two seasons ago on the Zone 4 Podcast with Bill as our guest. And lo and behold it has come to pass.
The characterization and relationship this final season has bee fantastic, as if all the actors fully realize that IS the last time they will ever again portray these people. So Walter's true humanity is shining through, Astrid's loyalty and courage abound and of course Peter & Olivia's love for each other through such awful events is what keeps the show together. Now the Fringe team is fighting to save the world and look out Observers. Every episode has been amped to the max and I can only dream of what the final hour will be like. WAHOOOO!!!!! |
