I thought it might be a good idea to introduce ourselves... fellow members of the Hardway Studios and open a forum to converse with the fans that may want to know us better as well as learn what makes us tick.

I'll start it up I guess...

My name is Jesse "Cadre" Hansen... Marketing Director for Hardway Studios

I'm primarily an inker in the comic industry but have done just about every aspect except writing... that being said, let's see who else pipes in before I start going into detail about myself.

Hey guys! I guess I should tone in and tell everyone a little about myself as well. My name is Chris Carpenter, I am the CEO, Editor, inker and many....MANY other things at Hard Way Studios. Dwayne and I founded Hard Way Studios to bring great comics and other things to the public.

In the time the studio has been around, we have seen substantial growth and seen a nice fan following of the studio and we intend on working very hard to make sure this trend continues!

About myself....I have been a comic fan since I can remember and wanted to get into the industry for just about as long. I am from a very small town in NC that believes it impossible to make something like we are trying to do happen, we do intend on proving the stereo type wrong. I enjoy spending time with my wife, Susan (studio manager), reading comics, going to the movies and expanding my knowledge in any way I can (read: watching history channel, discovery, reading everything I can get my hands on, etc.) I spend MANY hours a day overseeing the studio and in doing so, and putting so much into it, I am thankful to have a studio full of members that we can depend on!

Okay, that should bore people enough for a day or two.

Huh, I know more people here than I thought I did. What up, Chuck and Jesse!

Chris and Dwayne I've known for a while - very talented individuals indeed.

So anyway, for those of you who don't know, I'm a writer and letterer, though I'm just lettering here for now, specifically Shelter, Final Shadows and Genotype Prime last I checked. I've been lettering for a few years now having worked on many indy titles ranging from submission packets, to fill-ins at mid level companies, to a lot of other cool stuff. I started lettering to save costs for my own projects, but got good at it and started picking up steady work, thus here I am.

Not much else to tell, really, as it relates to Hard Way. Whatever you want to know, ask away and I'll do my best to answer.

Good to be here among such talent, and I'm looking forward to doing good things with you all.

Hello, one and all!
I'm Anthony Lee, one of Hardway's resident colorists and full time nerd.
I've worked on the 5 issue House at the Edge Of Nowhere (go buy it... NOW!!) and am currently up to my neck in zombies for the forthcoming Shelter graphic novel, which I know everyone's gonna love.
In addition, I wrote a short for the Morbid Myths book, and have done a few pin-ups and goodies for the Hardway website.
I'm based in England, where color has a "U", it rains constantly, and all the good American TV is still months away!
Hope everyone enjoys the stuff Hardway's got coming out in the next few months... we sure love it!

I did the pencils for a short tale in Morbid Myths concerning monsters in the making and currently I'm working on the pencils for Shelter, the up and coming graphic novel for zombie fanatics. Civilian by day, illustrator by night - that's how I roll.

For those who came in late....

I am Peter G, I am one of the writers at Hard Way Studios. I have two series under my belt so far, Final Shadows and Genotype Prime. A third series, The Assembly, I'm finishing up as we speak. Chris has also been kind enough to let me run my comic strip, Stress Puppy, in its own little section of the site.

I'm not really sure what more I can say about myself. I prefer to let my work speak for itself. But any questions, fire away, I'll answer them as best as I can.

As of this monday morning, the Hardway site is down and the yahoo email group is having gateway time out issues. Anybody have any info on this. Just before the site went down I was 4 days with no email from Chris. and we have a deadline to hit. Anybody have any info?

Hey guys,
I know this post was from a while back but I wanted to pop on here and say that for some reason the site glitched and by the time I got home from work that day it was back up and running. I got several emails telling me about the site going down but I never saw what it was doing. I did report to the provider that it happened and they assured me it was fixed and fully functioning. Sorry about that confusion, can't trust any provider these days it doesn't seem.
