I got an email from ComicSpace saying that when they and Webcomicsnation merge, they want to do a feature on Chad!
Of all the comics on those two sites, they picked mine. Whaddaya know 'bout that? More information about this dramatic development as I get it! -------------------- |

Congratulations. Well, this is a day late and dollar short thing. WCN never featured Chad and sent an email to find out why and never got a reply. So, I've pretty much decided that trying to market Chad is useless and I will continue to draw the strip for fun. I know this sounds bitter, but since Chad isn't manga, involves a super hero, or teen/twenty-something angst, and none of the female characters have big bosoms I doubt if any comics publisher is going to be interested.

In the end, you really have to be your sole audience. Sincerely. Many times over the years, I would get depressed that no one wanted to read my stories and should just do the world a favor and quit. God bless my wife, as she reminded me, I was born a writer and unless I write, I am never happy. So I learned a valuable lesson, I create because its who I am. If others ultimately find my works and enjoy them, so much the better. That's a bonus.
You're a storyteller. You have no choice. Tell your stories. And let the world play catch up. |

Thanks for the kind words, Ron, but I see myself as more of a Henny Youngman than a storyteller. -------------------- |
