Thanks guys!  Myself, my wife, and my oldest son celebrated by driving out to Columbus last night to check out one of my favorite bands, The Von Bondies, and everyone had a blast! We met the band, and gave my son his first rock and roll show. I thought this week was supriseingly good for comics, and the Shadowline contest for a new heroine has also kept me busy. Also, I found out someone is making a movie about the desert tragedey that reputably gave birth to much of Jim Morrisons work. It's called Dawns Highway, and as a fan, I can't wait to see how it plays out. -------------------- |

Hey, Dave, best of luck with the Shadowline contest. I entered it too, figuring what the hell. So I threw them something that had been collecting dust in my files for over ten years. Will be really interesting to see if either of us make the cut.

Best of luck to you as well Ron! It would be great for Comic Related if someone here made the cut, even to the final 10 (Not to mention what it could do for the writer!). I'd love to see what you sent them after they narrow things down. It's a great opportunity, although I'm always sceptical about how these things turn out. Many times it seems like it ends up going to a pro who is already firmly intrenched in the industry, and extremly well known. It seems like just a formality. Did you enter a pitch for Captain Action last year? -------------------- |
