Looks to be a fun weekend that will spill over into next week as well. This weekend hope to see (by Monday morning anyway) the last Harry Potter movie.
Been looking forward to this finale since viewing Deathly Hallows part one months ago. I rewatched the DVD yesterday to get back into the narrative. Tomorrow night, Brant, myself and Gordon will have the distinct pleasure of interviewing comic writer Mike Baron (now a neighbor of mine here in Fort Collins) about his amazing career and the return of his most unique character, the Badger, to the new First Comics relaunch. Then on Tuesday afternoon, over PULPED. Tommy Hancock and I will be interviewing another comic legend, CR's own Mark Ellis. What with all the miscues DC recently set forth in their horrible attempt at pulp comics, we're going to have a blast talking to the one of the few writers to do a decent Doc Savage comic book. Really looking forward to that. And of course come next Friday, 22nd, its time for CAPTAIN AMERICA -the First Avenger. Been a long-long time since I remember a summer this much fun. |

Last nights ZONE 4 with Mike Baron was a blast. Mike is a great guy and it was really fun learning about his creation of both the Nexus and Badger.
Oh, and we also learned of the real reason behind the break up of Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony....You dog, Gordon!!! |

Looks to be a Podcast week kicking off soon.
Monday night I'm set to co-host ZONE 4's 129th episode with co-host regular Gordon Dymowski and our reservist this week is our old Zone amigo, Chuck Kennedy. Our special guest will be Nightmare World writer Dirk Manning. Tuesday after I'm a guest, along with writer Derrick Ferguson, on the pulp Bookcave show, hosted by Rix Croxton and Art Sippo. Derrick and I join them in discussing my pal, African American writer Charles Saunders and the debut of the very first 1930s black pulp avenger, DAMBALLA from Airship 27 Productioons. Then two hours later, I put on my co-hosting hat again and join pal Tommy Hancock for the latest recording of PULPED, our special guest this week being the writer of Marvel's great pulp comic, MYSTERY MEN, and soon the new Dynamite mini-series featuring THE SPIDER, Mr. David Liss. Really looking forward to this one big time. So three podcast in two days. As Valerie loves to say, "It's a good thing you love to talk."

Speaking of the Pulped Podcast, hope everyone enjoys today's PULPED where me and Tommy talked with the creator of the Mercury Men. We had a blast.
