Thanks to Tim (thanks Tim!), I learned how to do flats in photoshop the other evening. I don't know where to go beyond this, but i colored the full page this way. Some of the choices were just there because I felt it looked blank and I know aren't the best, but some lines drifted off into nothing and made it a little difficult to figure out where to stop and start coloring a lot of the time.

So where do I go from here? smile.gif

I owe you a tutorial but honestly I just do not have the time. For now do a search for "coloring tutorial" on http://www.deviantart.com/ and one of those should help. Did you ever end up getting more RAM for the computer?

Here are a couple of tutorials that I did a couple of years ago that should help get you started.

Flatting 101

Coloring 101

As far as where to go from here, unless you have a personal stake in seeing this page colored, I would suggest getting your hands on some professional quality lineart with which to practice. You'll learn so much more when a lot of the important decisions (anatomy, depth, light source, etc.) are made for you by people who know what they're doing and you can just concentrate on how to color. Deviantart.com has a wealth of professional comic artists that post pages of their work. Most will be happy to send you a hi-res version (if they haven't posted one already) to you to practice with.
