Alex Ross' and Kurt Busiek's latest "marvels" are spotlighted in JACK KIRBY COLLECTOR #56

JACK KIRBY COLLECTOR #56 (84 tabloid-size pages, $10.95 cover price) focuses on Kirby's “Unfinished Sagas.” From TRUE DIVORCE CASES and RAAM THE MAN MOUNTAIN to KOBRA and DINGBATS OF DANGER STREET, the spotlight is on series, stories, and arcs Kirby never got to properly finish, and concepts that never got off the ground, presenting a wide assortment of unused art and text, including a complete story from SOUL LOVE (Kirby's never-published blaxsplotation romance magazine). Front and center in the issue is in-depth coverage of KURT BUSIEK and ALEX ROSS' new 8-issue mini-series for Dynamite Entertainment, KIRBY: GENESIS, in which the famed "Marvels" duo reunites to shape a new comics universe encompassing all of Kirby's creator-owned characters.

The issue also presents a rarely-seen 1946 Boy Explorers story, two Kirby Tribute Panels featuring special guests discussing the artist, interviews with MICHAEL NETZER and PAUL KUPPERBERG about Kirby's influence on them, plus MARK EVANIER and other regular columnists, Kirby pencil art galleries (showing his published comics pages BEFORE they were inked, from photocopies in Kirby's own archives), and more about the undisputed "King" of comics. It's all behind two Kirby covers (Jack's 1971 "Galaxy Green" presentation inked by MIKE ROYER, and the unseen cover for SOUL LOVE)! The magazine is edited by TwoMorrows publisher John Morrow.

In anticipation of the issue's release, TwoMorrows Publishing is letting readers download a FREE PDF PREVIEW of the issue at this link:

The full issue is available for pre-ordering as a PRINT or DIGITAL EDITION directly from TwoMorrows at this link (print customers will receive a free link to the digital edition):

JACK KIRBY COLLECTOR #56 will be on sale in comic book stores on Wednesday, March 30.
