Description
Kankakee Fantasy Con is a free comic/sci-fi/fantasy/paranormal event at the Kankakee Public Library which will be held on Saturday, June 4th, 2011, from 10am until 5pm.

General Information
On June 4th, 2011 the Kankakee Public Library and Amazing Fantasy Books & Comics are partnering to hold a first ever Fantasy Convention in Kankakee. Many writers and authors such as Tony Maldonado (The Lonely Rice Chronicles), Aaron Shaps (Moonstone Books’ The Phantom Detective) and Josh Elder (Mail Order Ninja, Founder and Executive Director of Reading With Pictures) will be joining us in person to speak about their projects and Charlie Adlard (Walking Dead) will be joining us via Skype! The convention will also hold break-out sessions throughout the day, as well as game tournaments and costume contests. The day is sure to be jam packed with tons of activities for all ages!
