I just learned that Columbus, Ohio born Wrestling legend - Macho Man Randy Savage has died in a car accident earlier today, he was 58. Somehow my impressions of him come off tasteless now. RIP Mr. Poffo!

Great minds think alike. I also posted a topic about his passing. Never knew him as a wrestler, since I did not have cable/ multichannel/ Sky or whatever in my youth, but I knew of him.
Then there was his role as Bonesaw McGraw in Spider-man.

And all the Brockdubs of really bad songs like 'Friday', 'My Jeans' were sung in his vocals style.

RIP.

I was only a fan of his and wrestling in general back in the 1980's and early 1990's, once the WWF became the WWE -- I just lost interest. That said, growing up Macho man was one of my favorites. I loved the flair he had for entertainment and making himself into a crazy character for the sake of being entertaining. You don't see that all that much these days.

Yeah, and then people have the nerve to call someone like Lady Gaga 'original.' Whereas anyone over 18 with a good memory can recall people like Bowie, Macho MAn and Hulk Hogan, among others.
