Pulp Fest every year hands out the Munsey Awards, named for one of the first ever Pulp Editors of the classic pulp mags. This year, in the opening rounds of nominations, two New Pulp writers were nominated, Wayne Reinagel and yours truly. And although we didn't make the cut to the final ballot, both of us are extremely honored by these nominations. As Wayne put it earlier this morning, this is a clear indication that we "new" guys are making solid inroads in the pulp community.
My sincerest thanks to the Pulp Fest Community and those fans who nominated me. What great way to start the day.  Of course as CR's Roving Pulp Con Reporter, I will be at Pulp Fest and let you all know who this year's Munsey Award Winner is. Stay tuned.
