STAR CON 2011 IS COMING!!!!!
Saturday Oct. 15th 12:00-6:00 p.m (and maybe even longer) Main Street Comics And Games Springfield Ohio Twilight Star Studios, the studio that never sleeps, Springfield Ohio’s home for creativity celebrates its 2nd anniversary and you’re invited! New art prints, new t-shirts, new book releases!!!! Twilight Star will release its 28th book in two years day of the show!!! Every Twilight Star creator will have a personal table selling material they are working on. Gary Church Bill Gladman Derron Church Frank Raynor Joe Pruitt Tim Hagans Dan Matthews Kevin Adkins Raichal Gladman Stacy Gaston It will be Halloween Season , so attend the event in costume!!! And take the “G-Man Challenge” as Bill Gladman will be taking on all comers in Marvel Scene It , And Marvel Trivia games!!! Hero Clix tournaments feature custom Twilight Star Hero Clix figures created by Kevin Adkins!!!! When we were originally scheduling this thing we were planning to do it on the same weekend we did last year but decided to move it up a week because of the Mid-Ohio being that weekend as well.
Although a few of of biggest supporters are going to the New York show, in our area it would be nothing but crickets for us if we went up against Mid-Ohio (although I liked that idea seeing how I no longer care for that show at all.....hard to say seeing how that used to be my favorite show of the year) Sometimes no matter what you do the scheduling bug bites you in the butt. Try putting on a comic convention the same weekend as the 10th anniversary of 9/11 -------------------- "Reality is only for those who lack imagination" don't know who first said that....but it works for me!
