Ghostbusters #1 from Dynamite publishing is an excellent, accessible issue.
Things are starting small, and we get some drama, and some funny. Pick this up as a tonic to the New DCU. |

#2 is pretty good too. The boys catch Slimer and the ghostly headmisstress of an orphanage.

#3 is also pretty good, as the plot starts to move and the guys learn what is going on, despite the interference of Walter Peck.
If you're not getting this, and you like Ghostbusters at all, get it. |

With the end of the GhostBusters first storyline, I think Erik Burnham has to be considered one of the up and coming writers in comics.
Consistent from beginning to end, there are no slow parts and no lame ending like so many comic storylines today. |

Ghostbusters #5 is pretty good stuff, with the guys travelling to Schenectady to deal with a haunted circus/carnival. Great stuff.

Another great issue, as the boys try to take down the haunted carnival.

Issue #8 focuses on Egon as he tries to solve the mystery of the unusally high PKE in NYC.
