We've just wrapped work on the first ever MR. JIGSAW SPECIAL. In it Mr. Jigsaw travels to Colorado to visit me and ask how we make his comics. After I've explained my way of working, we actually put in my script for all fans to see and study. Then Jiggy travels to Hawaii to visit with artist Gary Kato and learns how Gary prepares the artwork from my scripts...and then we see the finished Mr.Jigsaw story. Finally Jiggy and the artwork arrive in Hallsville, MO where editor Rob Davis scans Gary's pages and puts together the files for Ka-Blam our printer.
This is going to be a 44 pg HOW TO MAKE COMICS like no other How To book has ever been done...like a comic book! Here's a sneak look at page #1.

Soon as the book is on sale at Indy Planet, we'll let you know. Wahoo.

Thanks Bill. The book is now out and available for $3.75 from (www.IndyPlanet.com) They make great stocking stuffers for the little comic creators in your family. Here's the cover.

That's me and Rob Davis in last row, with artist Gary Kato in center looking back at us. He had a blast produce this book.

Thanks Chad & Mark. Again, we are going to love handing these to young boys and girls at conventions. Many, many years ago Nick Cuti produce a tiny digest booklet for Charlton Comics which detailed How To Make Comics. They sold it through the mail for .50 cents. I eagerly bought a copy and have it to this day, it becoming my one and only teacher in the mechanics of script writing. It's our fondest hope our Mr. Jigsaw Special will become that to future comic writers and artists.
