Hello, everyone,
Never let it be said that lack of steady work keeps me idle - in fact, I'm pleased to announce (if you haven't heard the latest Zone 4 podcast) that I will be hosting a Doctor Who-related event. Yes, on February 28th - just a few short days away from the mega-spectacular Dan Con 2012 - I will be speaking with Hugo Award-winning author Lynne Thomas. Our topic will be Chicks and Guys Who Dig Time Lords - A Doctor Who-Centric Conversation) (For more info about Ms. Thomas' book, please read this review) The event will be held in the Hendrickson Room at Arlington Heights Memorial Library, located at 500 N. Dunton (which I am informed is within walking distance of the Metra station) on Tuesday, February 28th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. We'll have presentation, discussion, and Q & A. (And a special thanks to the Chicago Nerd Social Club for letting me know about this great opportunity). So if you're in the Chicago area at that time (and for the Nerd Girls - if you have any questions, or would like me to have Ms. Thomas contact you, just let me know), please feel free to stop on by.
