Hi, I know someone whom is very very good with working with comic books. Could say they have their own store to run. What would you like when you go comic book shopping to find in the store? and what is the most helpful service you expect to find in a comic book store? I am just woundering whom is still reading or studing comic books and from what area's of the great USA. For example I ask for help in finding comic books that come on the market at the time of a special date, this was interesting to see which comic books came on the market with the same date, If anyone has any questions about comic books please share and I will pass them on to the expert. Keep ready and enjoy your comic books.

I get my comics at a place called Sarge's in Ct. they have a huge variety. I like to see a comic shop that sells comics, not just pokemon cards. Plus if I hear the staff actually talking about comics that helps. comics are still fun once you get away from the main stream stuff.

I really don't ask much from a comic book shop, except that it be a reasonably safe place to go and I don't have to worry about catching some sort of disease when I go there from the filth accumulated over the centuries (Yeah, some of you guys know what I'm talking about) and that they get the freaking books I order without a big hassle. Being a place that my gf or mother can go unescorted and pick me up a present is nice, too. I generally prefer non-goth places, so I don't have to listen to a half hour litany of some pancake makeup wearing emo type customer's lame personal problems just to buy my books, and then listen to the clerk's self masturbatory drama before I get my change.

I get my books at the only store in my little town, but my favorite store for the nonce is Empire comics in Sacramento. A-1 Comics isn't bad either. In Chico, I like Collectibles Inc and Bat Comics.

My standards have slid a bit over the years. I'm just happy if the owner doesn't criticize the books I choose to read. Yes, I actually had a store give me a hard time because I ordered Strangers in Paradise each month. He and I had words...
