Finally, some news on the character's revival. Did anyone else send in pitches?

As much as all this is exciting and fun, has anyone else but me noticed that in this "hat-less" age we live in, there doesn't seem to be an
artist out there who can draw a decent hat. These young dudes try to do a fedora and the results are sad. Now we have someone trying to do an old fashion flying cap and the first cover image in this series looks...well...sad. I remember way back when the running gag was young artist couldn't draw feet. Now it seems to be hats giving them fits. Jay's South American artist, when doing the western series, did excellent cowboy hats. |

I hate to admit it, but I had was hat challenged when working on the 5finity cards for Captain Action and The Spider. People these days go BALD- unlike the old days when George Reeves threw on his Fedora when leaving the offices of the Daily Planet-- and I LIKE the Fedora! My CA hat wound up being modeled after a Policeman's hat. -------------------- |
