![]() Okay, I'm really late to this particular bandwagon but who out there is watching Sherlock? I have to say quite simply... Oh my goodness that first episode of the series was good! -------------------- Chuck Moore

It's a great take...very imaginative and funny with nice twists on the canon but still retaining the traditional tropes of Holmes and Watson racing through the nighted streets of London...as this short video illustrates.
Welcome to London The second batch of episodes should be airing very soon. -------------------- |

The second batch of episodes should be airing very soon. Sherlock Season Two will premiere on Masterpiece Mystery (PBS) in May. There's a big launch/preview event in NY on May 2nd with Steven Moffatt. (I had the chance to score some tickets, but unfortunately, don't have the cash for airfare. Darn!) And having seen Season Two....you guys are in a treat. Trust me, this series is much better - and more entertaining - than the Downey films, in my opinion. -------------------- Tipping Sacred Cows since 2004 at http://www.blogthispal.com

We've actually talked about this on Zone 4 in the past. I caught it on Netflix and really enjoyed it. I haven't seen season 2 yet, which I think debuted a week ago, but if it's as good as the previous season I'm on board.
As for any comparisons to the Downey films, I don't think it's a fair comparison. They're different takes on the mythos, Downey's being more popcorn flick style, the BBC series being more intelligent and witty. Both are good in their own rights. -------------------- |

This show is phenomenal... Such a shame that there are so few of them. I've seen some speculation that the third season could be building to a series wrap based on episode title clues... I certainly hope not.
