This is great news.
I had a few guesses in my head but none came close to this.
Looks like I'm going to be scrounging pennies because there is no way I'm passing this one up.

I like the news-- I was guessing t the other end of the spectrum.Captain Action was an "action figure" meant to compete with the likes of G I JOE... If memory serves correctly-- there were extras with CA --a Superman costume and I think a Batman costume too. My memory associates it with Aurora, like the model kits. I wasn't a motorhead kid, I was a Monsterkid--other kids had car and truck kits, I had Supes, Batman, Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman and the rest.DC had soekind of cross promotion as Captain Action was a comic book also. I seem to remember the Saturday morning commercials. I may be mistaken, and I do mot rely on Wikipedia. (i've found plenty of bad info there!) Hey Ron, did you know you have a wikipedia page?

Thanks guys, the buzz over the internet all day has been overwhelmingly positive. Very happy to report that. And soon there will be a new report about the book's actual debut at Pulp Fest a month from now in Columbus, July9-12th. On Sat the 11th at 11:00 a.m. writer Jim Beard will be at our table autographing books.

We have to believe this first edition is soon going to be highly valued amongst both pulp and toy fans. Oh, and Art, the toy company doing the figure these days is still doing different outfits. Recently they did Captain America, Thor and Spiderman. Soon Iron-Man is on the way, and as I mentioned earlier, Rocketeer.

And yes, I was well aware I had a Wikipedia page. Every now and then I go over and add some new things if needed. I realize they aren't perfect, but over all I personally like Wiki and have used them often in my own research for writing.
