During our first review week, we took a look at Earthsons from Dark Ocean Studios. This small press company puts out a company newsletter. We thought it would be fun to share it with those interested here...

Hello everyone,

This is the first newsletter since our appearance at Wondercon 08’ in San Francisco. I want to thank everyone who worked at our booth for all of their hard work. Wondercon was a huge success. We passed out over 200 brochures! Designed by yours truly. Did I mention that already? We got loads of signatures for our mailing list and sold quite a few copies of our books. We received a lot of positive feedback from attendees on our story ideas, artwork and coloring. One of the people on our mailing list also wrote me today and
told me he loved our comics. Everyone should be proud of all the work and effort they put forth to make this event such a success.

We’ve recently received a very good review of our books from our new friends at www.projectfanboy.com!

The first issues of our comics The Dark Labyrinth and Earthsons are going to be featured at http://www.wowio.com. This will allow users to download our books and will hopefully enable us to reach a wider audience.

In other exciting news, our comic The Dark Labyrinth in association with Middlemind Games is going to be featured as a downloadable wallpaper for the T-mobile Sidekick 3, Sidekick LX, and Sidekick Slide devices!

I will soon be receiving copies of an eight page preview of our book Vlad. If anyone would like a copy mailed to them please let me know.

Also, the newsletter for our fan mailing list is different from our company newsletter so if you want to be added onto that list as well let me know.

We may be attending Supercon in San Jose, CA. If you can help out with this event please let me know your schedule and what days you can attend.

I am moving, hopefully near Santa Cruz, a wonderful beach city close to where I live now, within the next four weeks. So if you need to mail me anything near the end of the month I can provide you with an alternate address.
