DEADWORLD: Bring Out Your Dead Options

The ALL NEW anthology of Deadworld tales which was to come out in May and called DEADWORLD: BRING OUT YOUR DEAD has been pushed back. Any time an anthology is being done, you run into problems with some creators not delivering the quality you expect...and some not delivering at all.

However, the vast majority of the book is done so just need to get a few more stories in but now it will be called DEADWORLD CHRONICLES and will be coming out from Desperado Publishing.

The plan is to make this a regular anthology, hence the name change.

so this year we`ll see continuation of the regular DeadWorld series(some of "new artist`s" (Sami Makkonen?) samples would be welcomed:), final issues of Frozen Over(is #03 out, yet?) and start of DeadWorld Chronicles anthology?

Concerning the anthology - is there an open invitation for artists to send their samples for that one?
I have an artist friend or two who would be REALLY interested to collaborate on something DW related in the future and this looks like a perfect opportunity for that.

Right on most counts.

Deadworld regular series will continue with Slaughterhouse and I will put up some of Sami's artwork after I get back from Chicago (Wizard World).

Frozen Over #3 is at the printers and should ship soon but I don't know the exact date...it may have already shipped, I don't know.

Deadworld Chronicles is a one shot graphic novel but yes, an anthology. Perhaps if it does well, we'll continue it. In fact, I think that it looks like we will but can say for definite yet. And yes, submissions are certainly welcomed, not just for this book but future ones as well. Some various things being worked on that I can't discuss yet.

Of course, hope to have more news on the role playing game soon and the action figure soon as well.

Joe Pruett just posted on Desperado boards that Frozen Over #03 will be released in next two or three weeks so I have all the info i needed.
Looking forward seeing Sami`s take on DeadWorld...err... world:) and you can be sure that till the end of this week you`ll receive a submission or two from these areas.

Just an update that the Deadworld: Chronicles (formerly known as Bring Out Your Dead) and now coming from Desperado Publishing, has been at the printers for awhile and looks to be shipping mid-October.

One shot? I always though Chronicles was an anthology series. I'm sure it will do well and warrant a series

Deadworld Chronicles is a trade paperback of ALL NEW stories set in Deadworld. We'll see how the first one does and then go from there...so there may be more upcoming (likely but not on a specific schedule).

The first Deadworld Chronicles should ship in late October from Desperado Publishing.
