Sorry to hear that, David! What possessed you to subject yourself to such torture?

I had read random issues years ago and always had a bad opinion of the book but never read the original issues. Still wish I never had.

i've recently been getting into a lot of what Top Shelf is publishing. Alex Robinson and Jeff Lemire especially. Box Office Poison by Alex Robinson was just simply fantastic - I can't recommend it enough. Jeff Lemire's Essex County Trilogy is still one of the best mini-series of graphic novels that I've ever read.

I also have to recommend The Fart Party by Julia Wertz and Nathan the Caveman by Ben Bishop.

Recently read The Chair from Alterna Comics - the company run by our very own Peter Simeti. Excellent stuff.

Just re-read (uncanny) x-men #3 the oldest and most expensive book I own. A pretty good read still but a worlds difference to what we know comics today.

Thinking of rereading The Age of Apocalypse. That series of books now goes into this category.

My favorite X-event. The potential in Iceman was amazingly never touched on again sad.gif

I have been reading the Dylan Dog Case Files, while newer to those of us in the States, an older book to those in Europe. Very fun read, 300 pages in 400 more to go.

Just started reading the DC/Milestone Worlds Collide event from the 90's. A more fluid read than I thought.

I took a night or two off to read the first 20 issues of Strikeforce: Morituri and was simply amazed at how fantastic this series is!

As if can be found in the bargain bin these days, and has never been collected, the series is the poster child for lost gems. Fantastic storytelling, original concept, great art! One of the best series I've ever read.

How it fell through the cracks of comic-dom, I have no idea.

This one is a MUST READ!
