Cherry Capital Con (C3) is set for August 29-30 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City. Some of the guests include Daniel Way, Josh Howard, Tommy Lee Edwards, Joe Pruett, Mark Bloodworth, and Gary Reed. Publishers set up there include Desperado Publishing, Oni Books, Slave Labor Graphics, Top Shelf Comics, and Transfuzion Publishing.

If you’ve never been to Traverse City, it is repeatedly voted as one of the top places to live and manages to balance the tourism (second most tourist spot in Michigan after Mackinac Island) with a small city feel. It’s a mix of a resort with an arts community. Michael Moore holds the annual film festival which is one of the fastest growing in the country.

Space is still available for vendors, exhibitors, creators…run $50 each.
