Dynagirl! Options

Hey folks! If you haven't figured it out from the title, this is the general Dynagirl thread. We'll talk about all things Dynagirl around here and in a couple of other threads probably, so stay tuned for more info on the flagship character in the RHS universe, cause she's getting ready to turn up the heat! In case you missed it over at the RHS site, here's the cover for Dynagirl #1.

Did...someone say colors? hehe Just got this in my inbox. Doesn't that just scream "I will beat your ASS!"? lol
I guess if I had to give The Knight a reason for being it's that he gives me an outlet for a number of things in my writing. For one thing I have to have a counter for all the estrogen in the book, cause let's face it, there WAY more chicks than guys, especially early on. Plus he's a smart ass, and I really love dialoging him. Jack's the guy that punches something first and asks questions about a week later if it even occurs to him. He was raised in the 'hit it really hard' school of thought, and pretty much finds a way to apply that in any given situation he runs into. You'll see some fun interplay between he and Waypoint as the series plays along. I wouldn't say Jack has an issue with her sexuality necessarily, and it's not that he's trying to get her into bed, because among other things his wife would skin him alive, but he does get a kick out of messing with her now and again. That COULD come back to haunt him at some point. You never know.

Thanks man! I gotta say I've been incredibly blessed with the folks I've had the chance to work with!

The plan is to start the Dynagirl series in April, if I can manage to get the website up and running to support that time frame. I think it's doable, I just have to clear my plate of some pressing things first, namely 3 or 4 more Dynagirl scripts so Harold doesn't have to sit around waiting on me to get done! I'm a big fan of front loading things so that I'm way ahead anyway, so it shouldn't take me too long to get the scripts pounded out. They've already been plotted out to panels, so really all I have left to do is the final descriptions and the dialog and fire em off.

Right now the template we're using is a wordpress template, starts with an A but I can't remember the name of it. I've seen it customized to look really good so hopefully it'll suit our needs and we'll be off and running in April. right now we'll probably be putting up 2-3 pages a week, either on a Tuesday and Thursday schedule, or a MWF depending on which way we go. That'll probably all depend on how far we're able to get ahead prior to starting the run. Right now it looks like we'll be three full issues ahead, which is SO cool.
