Transformers writing competition
Just wanted to pass along some info for any of our writers here. Bill has worked at IDW, I'm trying to get work there, and maybe one of our gang can also get a writing gig there. They go hot and heavy on these comps and as usual - winning don't mean you will get a gig. But worth trying right? -------------------- |

I was thinking of entering a piece, but I did not have time to
write. Darn that coloring of mine. Bill, I want to read your piece, but neither my new PC, or Laptop have MS Word installed. Actually none of the new Vista systems seem to have it installed. So if anyone knows a work around to get the.doc file opened in Vista let me know. Thanks. I had written Transformers Material before, heck I co-wrote a animated movie that was to be made into a 3D animation based on the Great War. The problem being that A. At the time I was just getting into writing and had no clue what I was doing. B. I never wrote a second draft, or edited it, of which it needs. I think it's the first link, I may be wrong. Oh, and back in the day I started a project that never left the ground. Since then another website took the name, but I do believe that I was the first to use the title. Transfandom |

ROFL! I'm a walking Transformers database. If i don't know - i know where to find the info.
I'm like a mega-star trek fan (who can quote 'the trouble with trebbles' script from memery). Cept - I'm a tf fan. Wait till you guys see my gold Autobot chain in chicago.

Back in the 80's I was really into transformers...but now my son has picked up the torch for the new generation of Transformers..he keeps me grounded. Marvel back in the 80's printed a four issue series of the Transformers universe that i collected. My son loves to flip through those issues pointing out old school characters he's not familiar with. he's particularly enthralled with the Dinobots..heh heh

On the subject of dinobots - IDW put out Spotlight Grimlock about a month and a half ago. They are soon going to release more dinobot goodness (the whole gang of dinobots) in comics - probbably in a month or 2.
You son would love the series.
