Bring inking back - Make the corporations take notice

The question remains, although traditional inking seems to be a "dying art", I'd like to hear opinions on what will make the corporations take notice of traditional inking as something of value? It's not like rubberband and tape special effects, you know.

Wow, thank you, John for joining us!! ( I hope that more people will) I believe what you just said is the truth. It's like 10 years ago when airbrushing was a "dying art". In this online interview with Buzz at Comic Geek Speak: Comic Geek Speak he makes the point that younger artists aren't learning to ink like in the past, but who is, being that everyone is so computer reliant? BTW, airbrushing is still alive and well on boardwalks and in auto detailing. Who's doing the best job is the question of the moment it seems, because those that can do the job right are
the ones who will be sought after. Is there anyone on our board that can finesse pencils and put their own personal signature on a digital inking job? I'd like to try, but I can't get over the feel of my brushes and pens.
