Hey Guys... guess this is the right place for stuff like this. Since I don't think we have specific forums set up for the CR webcomics.

Anyway, I recorded my process of coloring and lettering this weeks New Comic Day. Thought it might interest some of you. Again it's just another walk through kind of thing... not really a tutorial. I'm thinking of doing some sort of tutorial, just have to figure out what I want to talk about. So if anyone has a request for a specific tutorial just let me know!

The music is just a couple songs I personally like, has nothing to do with the comic really. I thought about using the the mickey mouse club march or its a small world and then decided against it. For one I don't want to be responsible for getting it's a small world stuck in someone's head. ha ha

Thanks to all the guys on the NCD team for letting me put this up, and I can't say enough how happy I am to be a part of the team and working on such a fun project.

Ok, so here it is.

I think they came out well. I just wish I could make my own videos (not just coloring but any kind,) I can't though because of the fact that the
software will not work on my system. I have 64x based Vista System and most of the software and codecs are for the 32x system. Anyway, back on the
subject of the strip; have you considered lettering over the line art first, then color it? This way you'd know where those pesky balloons will be.

I actually had thought about lettering it first. Though then I know I'd get lazy and not color behind the balloons... so if we ever wanted to say snatch a panel or 2 out for promotional stuff or something and we needed it without the lettering then I'd have funny uncolored spaces. lol That was my thinking on it anyway.

About the software... I'm not sure what to tell you. You'd think they'd offer codecs for all types of systems. So strange. I hope you can figure it out, I'd like to see some more videos from you.
