Seeing how I colored your Henchman pages I can attest to how great of an artist you are.
I am really enjoying that Leonardo piece on the bottom, I love how you posed him, quite dynamic.

Hey guys,
Here is some new stuff. I've been playing with the idea of making my characters bulkier and bolder ( ala Mad! or Bachalo) in order to get more impact in my pics. Here are the results. LMK what you think.
Thanks!
J.C.

Well, take this however you wish. I personally like the less bulky stylizations. The thinner style looks better in my opinion, that said it's nice to see people experiment with their artistic styles.

Those are great, I like the Angel piece the best due to the overall pose and perspective. I also like the Grifter piece since it reminds me of the classic Jim Lee days.

There are truly awesome pin-ups. Bravo on that front. So, what I'm curious to see is "other" stuff. Ala illustrations of a scene, with multiple characters in a specific setting. Or even sequentials?

Hey guys,

These are some more pics I've been doing. Still experimenting with cartoonier stuff and I pretty much like where things are going.

Thanks again!

Loving your latest stuff, JC. Cartoony, but not overly so. More detailed and defined and less sketchy than some of your other stuff, but still recognizably you. Nice strides. Keep it up!
