Hi CR amigos. Every year the board of directors of the Pulp Fest con ask for nominations for the Munsey Awards which they in turn give out at the convention.
The award, named for a highly popular pulp editor of the 1930s, is given to that man or woman who has contributed greatly to the support and continuation of pulp fandom. Lo and behold, I woke this morning to learn that my name was on the list of the 16 candidates this year. This is a extreme honor for me and I like to think a reflection on all the writers and artists who have made Airship 27 Productions such a success in the past three years. In all honestly, looking at the roster, I'm one of the rookies in this fandom and I'm hoping one of the "old" timers gets the award, they all deserve it. Only the past winners can vote, there are 35 of these. And again, I'm just flattered to listed with this amazing pulp fans and creators. What a day!!! |

Congrats on receiving the nomination!
Having been a fan of you work for several years I can say that it is well deserved.
