I know I haven't posted much on my forums here, but I did want to announce that I will have work published by IMAGE this month!

Look for the Hack/Slash Volume 8 Tradepaperback: Super Sidekick Sleepover Slaughter (supposedly out Sept 22), which in addition to the main story, features "Hackoween", the Halloween Man and Hack/Slash crossover (40 plus pages) that I inked in 2008 and was published as a webcomic. It was written by Drew Edwards (creator of Halloween Man), and naturally done with (Hack/Slash creator) Tim Seeley's blessing and approvals, and Tim made sure it saw print! Art is by David Baldeon (Young Allies, Nomad, Robin, Blue Beetle), inks by yours truly, and colors by Marc Lewis. Art direction and letters by Brian J. Crowley (Hamster Rage) and editing by Russell Hillman.

Having trouble posting images on the board here, but check out this link for the cover: http://www.imagecomics.com/schedule.php?d=20100922

And this older link from 2008 shows some preview pages: http://www.comicsbulletin.com/news/122412637933156.htm

Also, our own Decapitated Dan did an interview with Drew, and some of the art featured is from Hackoween: http://comicrelated.com/news/3757/halloween-man-interview

This FINALLY came out in comic shops yesterday (Wednesday)! Not sure why Image delayed it this long.

I haven't been able to check it out in person yet (as I have the new job and all), but hope to soon.

This will be great to see it all in printed glory!

Scott, any idea if it's going to be included in Omnibus Three?

Thanks for asking! I am not sure at this time, but the signs unfortunately point to "no" (at least for now).

Looking up an e-mail between Drew and myself, Drew said that Tim was originally going to put it in the Omnibus 3 and placed it in the Volume 8 trade instead.

I also checked Tim's boards on CBR, and someone there asked if the Halloween Man story would be included in Omnibus 3, but Tim didn't answer yet.

I also haven't seen Hackoween mentioned in the solicits for Omnibus 3, like it definitely was for Volume 8. The solicits on the Image website for Omnibus 3 mention issues 18-34 and the Entry Wound one-shot.

I wish I had a better answer at this time. I will try to ask Drew again just to be sure. Maybe there is an outside possibility it could show up in a later Omnibus.
