I'm liking the new pages you're coming up with! The gestures are translating nicely into your line work :3

You should put the Bounty Hunter pages in order in a post, Fred, so folks can peruse what you did. Good stuff...I was just marveling at it again..

My entry for the SKETCH Magazine "Despicable Me" contest. Had to draw a favorite villain doing something nice or heroic.
Doctor Doom directing traffic for kids sounded funny, so here ya go. 100% digitally created in Manga Studio EX4. ![]() -------------------- Owner and Creator at PixelFigs

Here's one of the three 3-page scripts I'm using for my portfolio for ECCC 2011.

Horrible drawing day today.
But, having had these from time to time, I know that tomorrow is a chance to start again, so I'm stopping for the day. I'll get good sleep, have breakfast and a walk along the beach in the morning, and get to drawing. There's a saying taped to my studio door under a sign of a man digging: "Sometimes it's gold, sometimes it's shit". Today was the latter. Aiming for the former tomorrow. Night, all. ;-) -------------------- Owner and Creator at PixelFigs

Page 1 of 3 for my ECCC 2011 portfolio. This little story satisfies the "ordinary, non-super people doing normal, non-super people things" portion of my portfolio. Hoping to get picked up by a smaller company in the next few months. Fingers crossed!
Page 2 is being drawn right now...up tonight. ![]() -------------------- Owner and Creator at PixelFigs

Honestly, some of the best drawing I've seen in a long while, my friend. The attention to detail is sweet and your anatomy is always perfect. I do love your work, and sincerely hope one day it graces one of my humble scripts. Keep em flying, Fred!!

Just when I think I know how good you are, Fred, you come along and amaze me again. Love this page.
And it makes me reconsider our project seeing this. I know that you will be very busy; and for the times you aren't, that's when I'll be ready for you. Probably a window of about five minutes, but five minutes of awesomeness... -------------------- Inker and writer of comics

Thanks, Bill! :-D
Here's page 2 (delayed 'cause my wife and I went to the Chinese New Year parade in SF last night)-- I added an establishing panel for the diner that wasn't in the script, because I felt that having the characters walk through a suburban neighborhood only to cut directly to an interior diner shot didn't give the reader enough clues to what's going on. Anyhow, on to page 3, in which Jay and Silent Bob get kicked out of the diner for what Jay says in the last panel on this page. ![]() -------------------- Owner and Creator at PixelFigs

The streets shots are amazing!!!! Fred, you truly are taking your drawing to a truly awesome new level. Again, bravo!!! One minor quibble from someone who is beneath your skill. Just watch your height and size relationships, especially in panel 3. Jay is clearly seen as being taller than Silent Bob, but in the third panel, he is about the same size, and the proportions do not line up. That is all, the rest is rocking. And I don't even like Jay and Silent BOb. |

Page 3 of 3. Don't like it as much as the others for a few reasons. *shrugs*
On to a 3-page Supergirl script full of punching, flying and short skirts. ![]() -------------------- Owner and Creator at PixelFigs

Absolutely love these. Unless the world turns upside down, isn't going to be too much longer before you are working the big boys.
