I have been drawing comics for many years – but I’ve never thought my style to be suitable for the mainstream titles that we all know so well. Nonetheless, my work is both traditional – with a wide range of influences from Dick Sprang to EC to certain artists of the Silver Age, including Carmine Infantino and Bob Oksner – to being kind of way out -- with Robert Crumb and Charles Burns being touch points. I believe I have taken the under-appreciated roller-coaster panel breakdowns of certain non-EC horror comics and the Fox line (jungle comics, adventure, etc) and made them my own. Add to that fine art influences and I think I have wrapped them all up in a nice entertaining package. I am seeking exposure and publication.
