Soooo...I just got the table set up/layout for the Derby City Comic Con, and I know some members of the board are going, and I can't wait to see you all there. However, It's my first real show (I had a less than stellar table with a partner in Chicago a few years ago, we were woefully unprepared) This is the first Dream In Color Entertainment table.

I made the decision to be listed under my name to promote my artwork AND Dream In Color Entertainment as opposed to JUST Dream In Color Entertainment books and such.

I guess I should get to the point here.

My table is in the back corner between a supplies vendor and a sculptor (who admittedly does fantastic work and there are worse places to be) but, how much does this matter? Is the fact that I'm not surrounded in my area by other artists/creators a good thing? Detrimental?

Is the preference to be in the front part of the show? The back part? Does it matter?

First show jitters and all that smile.gif

Thanks in advance for the replies...

I think you'll be fine. At the end of the day, its the product that sells.

To that end though, I don't know the layout of Derby City. If you're in a different room, or in an off-traffic area, it can hurt your sales.
