What characters (Hero or villain), do you think has the sharpest tongue, the quickest witts, and best banter?

Spider Man with his always-ready jokes?

Wow, that is a fun one, but a hard one narrowing it down. I'll have to give it some though, but I know a few that will definitely make my list.

Naturally, sometimes it depends on who is writing them, but here is my list of top ten snarky characters.

I have to ask though, which version/era of Beast are you speaking of? I never really saw the snark myself (but then, I learned something about the Flash the other day!)

Wolverine (Yes, Wolverine! Think back to the classic Claremont/Byrne years. That little Canadian squirt had some very sarcastic lines. I don't care much for the character now, but he was interesting in those early stories.)

I don't think Jaime was in the issue that I showed you.

To give some back story: The first mission Jaime and Adam went on together, Jaime broke through the window, and when the fray was over and everyone retreated...Adam was caught by the police and had to pay for the window. This is a few issues later. The villains just made a quick exit out of the building, through the window. Jaime had set a bundle of files on fire in a trash can to destroy them, several minutes ago.

In that case.....I want to add Necrotrancer to my list...bump everybody back one spot and Mr. Jacob Shade takes the #1 spot on my "new" list!

Tell us a bit about him!

Okay...a little about Jacob Shade...aka....Necrotrancer. This is taken from an interview with Shades of Gray artist and the man that drew that picutre....Oscar Pena.



GM: "Don't stop there... plug away. Tell everybody a little more about the book."

BO: "It's your story... your character. You go right ahead."

GM: "Your interview."


BO: "Alright... .you want to be that way... ."

GM: "I'm shy."

BO: "Yeah right... .whatever. Anyway... .Necrotrancer... also known as Jacob Shade is an ex-Marine/Military Sniper and a former professional hitman who actually gets recruited by the Devil to hunt down and kill 666 demons that Lucifer kicked out of Hell after they tried to take the place over. Bill and I were working on this story a while back before it got side lined. It was supposed to be a one-shot deal that kind of would spin off into an on going series called the Un-Naturals... .I'm passing the ball to you... you know more about the background on the Un-Naturals... take the shot."
