Usually here then the person hosting the contest will put everything together into a voting thread later for us.

I wish I were in on this one, but my printer is a POS and with my car down I was never able to get the time to take my wife's car to get it printed at a kinko's or whatever. Figures first real Hulk contest and I miss it.
Looking forward to seeing the entries though.

Compairing em - I'm not too bummed how mine turned out.
HUGE difference between how I inked and how Anthony inked!
But I rendered my clouds a more crapptastic. It's ok though, Anthony has TONS more inking experience than me.
On the bright side, I like how the brick wall turned out on the left side of the art on mine.
Anthony Hochrein
Apr 20 2008, 06:33 AM
Personally, I think I could have gone darker on my bricks.

Wow, Bob was right! The crickets really are chirping out here! I guess everyone's at the NYCCC today! I'm working and listening to the Comic Geek Speak Podcast from there since I was not able to go.

Hey I made like 10 posts today
I'm pretty happy after listening to the video interview about the Hulk movie...
My only pet peeve with it is that the director keeps saying that he couldn't justify making the Abomination look like the Abomination... one scene with Emil Blonsky/Tim Roth showing an affinity for lizards... done.
I mean I like to think I'm a creative genius, but I'm not sure that little tidbit should be that hard to reach.

nice job jeffrey. again as i said to flair, the brick wall are being left behind, one thing i was glad to see the brick wall at the top left was dark.
not too shabby for a pen nibber.

If it's decided on a coloring contest and you want to go the "work over a pro" way again, I have a great unpublished Spider-man cover in my art collection. It's by pencilled by Anthony Williams and inked by De La Rosa.
I could post it elsewhere in the comp section if you wanna see it.
Hamlet

Post it on corkboard I'll like to see it.

ham, nice job
one crit, tone down the outline of hulk, little too much dominating the whole panel, love the "sin city" style look.
i would love to participate, however i am in training for drawing.
i do hope we can do another "ink a pro's pencil". this will sharpen our perception of inking.
whoever win...i sure hope we can pencil over chris bachalo's work. amazing fella with bullocks.

That's a great suggestion, the coloring contest. It would be a great thing to see all of you compete against one another to see who does the most powerful coloring job. I'd probably have to sit it out as I'm involved in three important projects that must be finished before the comicon!

Another coloring comp would be a nice also.
I personnaly like changing it up, 1 penciling, 1 inking, 1 coloring, etc. Maybe we can get a writing one somehow started (again)? Possibly toss lettering in somehow sometime?

Sounds great! I've never even thought about Lettering but that's a even better idea. Get a page and who comes up with the coolest lettering.
