Blood Bowl: Killer Contract #1 is the newest gaming adaption to hit the comic book shelves. By Matt Forbeck and Lads Helloven for Boom! Studios, the book is just what you would expect from a story based on Blood Bowl, the popular game that's kind-of, sort-of like football...if football was a horribly violent, homicidal thing.
The first issue is a romp--filled with violence and mayhem, it brings me back to a time when books like Lobo and Trencher filled the shelves, bringing readers violence for violence's sake.
