Reviewer Comments:
Great writing and Awesome Artwork.
This issue is extremely well done, in my opinion. Mike Raicht's writing is as good as ever. Great story, great pacing, excellent new characters and a wealth of action. This issue is a total genre bender. But Mike pulls it off extremely well. The focus in this issue shifts between each sub-team of the league of light as they all pursue the newest league of light recruits. Don't want to give too much away, but let's just say that this is an extremely tricky situation for Ash and the team, considering who one of their newest members is. Seriously good stuff here.
The artwork on this issue was fantastic. Thank God that Scott Cohn is back for this issue. His work is tailor-made for this series. For some reason I find it extremely easy to relate to the characters that Scott draws, whereas in the previous issue without Scott, I just couldn't stop cringing at some parts. The visual storytelling is excellent.
Rael Sidharta's colours on this issue were better than they've been for a while. I liked them, although I didn't find them to be anything special. I don't think they really suit Scott Cohn's lines, to be perfectly honest. But they don't take away from the fantastic writing and artwork of the issue.
Ah man, I seriously urge anyone to get out and buy this series. I've no idea why it's not popular, as it's as good as most of the stuff put out there. In some cases it's better, in fact, in most cases it's better.

My name's Liam Bradley and I live in Glasgow, Scotland. I've been a major comic fan since I was six years old and since then I've always wanted to create my own comics. I've recently been converted from a Marvel Zombie to an Indy Snob. I still love Marvel and DC stuff but most recently I've been picking up a lot of Indy titles. I'm currently scripting two projects right now, and toying with some ideas for a third and fourth project. I also do Indy reviews over at projectfanboy.
