List of Publishers for PSP Comics
Sony has revealed a list of the publishers that have signed on to provide titles for its upcoming PSP comics service.
According to the platform holder, 2000 AD is on board to deliver Judge Dredd and Druham Red books. IDW Publishing will distribute Astro Boy, Transformers and Star Trek comics via the digital storefront.
Market leader Marvel will sell Astonishing X-Men, Captain America, Fantastic Four, Iron Man and The Amazing Spider-Man issues, and Disney will contribute comics based on its popular properties. Insomnia, iVerse Comics and Titan Book have also signed up for the service.
DC Comics is yet to announce whether it plans to join the roster.
The PSP's comic reader will allow users to view issues as though they are reading a print copy, or zoom in to each page to read the book panel-by-panel. There will also be an 'AutoFlow' feature to guide the reader from cover to cover.
