A Word From One of the Creators
From the desk of Eric Ratcliffe
I've been on autopilot lately. Trying not to stress myself or the other members of the team out or anyone else in my life lately. But I digress, #56! The debate rages on.
One thing I think that Green Arrow/Black Canary under Winnick tried to do but failed at was use the Arrow family well. Mia really seemed to be the only one that was really cared for. I mean don't get me wrong, it was a fun book filled with beautiful artwork and awesome guest stars, I just think the main and the supporting cast got overwhelmed by the chaos that the book tried to set up. Especially Connor who, last I checked, still doesn't have much of a role to play anywhere.
Poor Roy has really had one hell of a change in his life and Mia was only recently used by Robinson.
On the other hand, we have Bobbi and Clint who seem to have nothing but a flourishing supporting cast the last year as the series has been set up. Though Dinah now has the Birds back and Ollie is playing in the woods by himself, so it's very odd to see where our extended archer families are at. (Roy seems to be a junkie again.)
So what's up for next week? Well, the debate rages on and we get the girls involved! That's right, ladies and gentleman, the debate may be won once and for all! Find out in 7!
