Super Human Resources #1
Chuck Moore on the issue ... Alternate Cover Pictured below

If you don't yet know that we here at Comic Related believe in this series, I have to ask... "Where have you been?" Super Human Resources offers a fun and creative take on the world of caped life and the oddities that would inevitably occur in a support staff office charged with backing your favorite team.

In this first issue, we get a real flavor for the humor presented by writer Ken Marcus and, given this is his first series, he shows he has the chops for comic creation as his fun style just works in this arena. Justin Bleep's art is a perfect match for the story and the overall package is a clear home run, both visually and narratively. Taking that analogy just a bit further, if you were an outfielder watching Super Human Resources step up to bat, after a simple flip of the first few pages you'd be drifting back into the outfield and ultimately smile as the ball left the park and bounce off a car outside... It's that much fun!

How long has it been since you picked up a title that was aiming to be genera, fun and funny only to find that they missed the mark in one or all of these areas? Super Human Resources will make you laugh and the "in jokes" that prove just "in" enough to satisfy the longtime comic reader. The fact that they pull this off without ridiculing the genera they are sending up only gets better as you discover that there is a solid larger story being told. Super Human Resources captures the fun of a four panel web comic and delivers it in a four issue mini that comes together well by its close. Along the way, there aren't a lot of story types form the world of mainstream comics that aren't touched in some way.

The long and short... Do yourself a favor and grab this one while it's fresh on the racks. If you miss it, you'll just find yourself hunting it down later and who wants to do that?
